It's hard to believe, one of the most fearful things a person can do in their week is go to a church - particularly a church they don't know much about.. It is a frightful thing. For those of us who go to church, because it's a good thing, it's our obligation to get our story straight, and that's what we're going to talk about this week. What is the story we're trying to tell? What is the offer, the promise we're trying to make? What's the big deal about being the church and going to church? What good is it? What's God say about it? What's the end-game of it all? Is there a bigger story than just going to church and getting beat up, condemned, and feeling worse than when you came? The answer is, you bet! We're going to be talking about "Let's Get Our Story Straight - How To Be Good News People In A Bad News World". Join us this week at The Gathering at 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday morning where other non-religious people gather to connect to God and each other as we face life in the real world. Whether you're new to the journey with God or not, we can make the trip a lot more fun and rewarding. Be sure to invite a friend. Life is always done better together. Join us at the Thoroughbred 20 Cinemas in Cool Springs at 9:00 & 10:30 AM. Join Our Email List |
