The Gathering Nashville

Dr. David Foster is a native of Glasgow, KY. He is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and church planter. He and his wife Paula have started 2 churches in the Nashville area. In 1989, they started Bellevue Community Church and in 2007 they planted The Gathering Nashville.

His passion is to create a church for people who find going to church boring and confusing. Nashville needs a place specifically for those who dislike traditional religion along with its rules, regulations, and formality, but long for an authentic experience with God.

David is well known for his humorous, motivational/inspirational style of encouraging people to live up to their God-given potential. Here is some inside info about David and what he is about:

• David and Paula met in the third grade, started dating in their senior year and married at age 18. They have been married for over 38 years.
• David and Paula have three adult daughters; Erin, Lindsey, and Paige.
• David and Paula conduct live events across the country called, “Making Marriage Fun Again“. These one night events are aimed at helping good people grow great marriages.

• David and Paula broadcast a live online radio show each Thursday morning at 10:00 AM (central) called “The David and Paula Show”;  a thirty minute show answering listeners’ questions about love, life, and marriage.
