Paula Foster, Executive Director

Paula has been at The Gathering since day one and claims The Gathering erupted and God orchestrated its existence. Yea God! She loves every minute of directing and serving along side of people who make the Gathering possible each weekend.

Paula is the wife of David Foster and mom of three beautiful young ladies, Erin, Lindsey & Paige. They are always her most “claim to fame”. Married at the age of 18, Paula has served in churches all of her adult life alongside her husband David. She is co-host of the David and Paula Radio Show, and has teamed with David to create a Live Event called Making Marriage Fun Again. Paula loves to run/spin class/weight train/ zumba, and power 90 to make a nice variety of cardio. In spite of her work out regime, she still loves her candy. While a business lady she has a very creative side and displays that in her home with photography or paintings of her own. When she’s not designing her own home she loves to stage other homes for friends or for charity. Among those are “Against the Grains”, and “Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home”.

Barbara Mcgee, Administrative Assistant

Originally from Philadelphia, Barbara has lived in the Nashville area since 1994 with her husband Patrick. Married in 1982, they have 4 adult children & 2 grandchildren. Barbara has been privileged to serve as David Foster’s assistant since 1996, and enjoys photography/videography, travel, and visiting the Nashville Rescue Mission as a Pet Therapy team with her Chocolate Lab, Ben. Her passion for serving inside and outside The Gathering is exemplified in this Blackaby quote: “God’s purposes do not depend on us. He has limitless ways to accomplish His will. The question is this: Will we be a part of God’s activity, or will He find someone else? Service to the Lord is an honor God bestows on us, not a favor we do for God.”

Ken & Barbie Isham, Worship Leaders

Ken and Barbie Isham are award-winning singer/songwriters who have been performing together for 25 years and worship leading for more than 15 years. Together, they have performed throughout the world in a variety of venues, from the Grand Ole Opry and International Festivals to corn fields and tiny churches.

Ken began playing guitar and performing professionally at age 11, turning his talent and love of music into a career as a recording producer and engineer, as well as worship leader. One of his true joys is helping artists navigate the recording studio and produce a professional, uplifting project.

Barbie began her professional career when she married Ken. Combining faith and music was a natural progression and led to her stepping into the worship leader role.

Today, in addition to leading worship at The Gathering, they continue to create music through writing, recording, and live performance.

Originally from Texas, Barbie and Ken make their home in Ashland City with their son, Micah.
